Alpinebeds Terms and Conditions



General

By making a booking the party leader and all occupants agree to abide by the terms below.
The party leader is responsible for making all other occupants aware of these terms and conditions. The party leader must be over the age of 18 years.

To secure a booking
No booking is reserved until the 40% deposit has been paid and Alpinebeds has sent a confirmation / reservation e-mail.
The booking is confirmed upon full and final payment due for payment no later than 2 months prior to arrival. If the booking is made within two months of the arrival date the full rental payment must be paid.

Payment methods
Credit card (Charged in £ Sterling) add 2.5%. Bank to bank transfer. Cheque made payable to ‘Alpine Designs’.

Security bond
Either credit card details are required and permission given in the event that we need to make a charge.
Or (£200 or 300 Euros) are required with the full rental payment of the property. £400 or 600€ on luxury properties.
If the security bond is paid by cheque or bank to bank transfer, the bond will be held and returned to you within two weeks of your holiday.

Deductions to the security bond
The guests agree that deductions from the security bond or a credit card charge will be made if we find the property needs excessive cleaning, or unnecessary damage or breakages have occurred, this includes willful or accidental damage to the property and / or its contents. Unnecessary or excess cleaning is charged at £20 / hour or part of. Guests are expected to leave the property reasonably clean and tidy. All rubbish, including glass bottles must be removed from the property upon departure failure to do so will be charged at £10 per sack or part of.
Loss or failure to return Keys will be charged to you at £75 per set of keys.

In the event of cancellation
Cancellation will only be accepted when confirmation has been received and acknowledged by letter or e-mail to Alpinebeds.
Cancellation fee
Up to two months prior to arrival; loss of deposit (40%)
Up to 6 weeks prior to arrival; 60% of total rental rate
Up to 4 weeks prior to arrival; 75% of total rental rate
Less than 4 weeks; 100%, total rental rate
Refunds of rental payment due to cancellation will be liable to an 8% administration charge, with a minimum cancellation charge of £30.
There will be a 10% administration fee for any cancellations of other services that Alpinebeds has already taken payments for E.g. Lift passes.
You are advised to insure yourself against piste closure, cancellation due to illness etc.

In the extremely unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our control our liability is limited only to the return of all monies paid, although we will do our utmost to find alternative comparable accommodation.

Personal possessions

The owners and Alpinebeds cannot be responsible for guest’s personal belongings and advises that insurance is taken out to cover all personal possessions.

Children
Children under the age of six years are not allowed to sleep on the upper bunk. Parents or guardians must be responsible for checking all safety aspects of the accommodation relating to children.

Numbers / Subletting
It is forbidden for guests to sub-let the property. The let will be terminated with no refunds or compensation if this occurs. The property is strictly limited to the agreed number occupants. The security deposit is forfeited if this condition is not respected.

Smoking
For the comfort of all guests, we ask that you smoke on the external area’s only. No smoking is allowed in the interior parts of a building. The security bond will be forfeited if guests ignore this condition of the let to cover extra cleaning costs and inconvenience to subsequent guests.

Arrival and Departure Times - Change over day
unless you have prearranged alternative entry time, the arrival time is between 4pm and 8pm. Outside of these hours charges apply.
Unless previously arranged, vacation time on departure day is by 10.00 am. Guests are required to leave the property tidy and ready to be cleaned. The kitchen must be left clean. The dishwasher may be left loaded but MUST be turned on. It is the clients’ responsibility to report of any breakages or damage to the property or its contents to Alpine Beds before departure.

Damage Caused

Alpinebeds shall be entitled to recover from the party leader costs for damages or losses caused by the party leader or a third party. Alpinebeds reserve the right to terminate the holiday of any client whose behavior or that of any of the party is considered to be unacceptable.

Internet and telephone

Where the above services are provided; information will be made available on how to connect etc. Alpinebeds cannot be responsible for problems with internet connection. Should you require assistance an hourly service charge of £45, minimum 1 hour.

Complaints and Problems

The client is not entitled to request a change of property during their holiday.
In the unlikely event of any problem occurring during your holiday with either the inventory or the accommodation the client must immediately contact Alpine Beds. If the problem is not satisfactorily resolved, it should be referred to the Alpinebeds office before departure from Les Houches - Tel. 0450547344 and confirmed in writing within 14 days following completion of the holiday. Claims can only be considered when this procedure has been followed.

Payment indicates acceptance of these conditions.
